Bringing compassion, dedicated service, and expertise to represent Michigan’s 79th District.
I grew up in the 79th District, and it has always been home to me. My family and I lived in the Crossings Apartments in Gaines Township then moved to Jasonville Farms in Caledonia Township. I attended Dutton Christian schools, South Christian High School and graduated from Calvin University in 2016 with a History degree.
I dedicated my life to serving others—first as a library circulation assistant and tutor at Calvin University, then through my work at The Right Place, Inc., where my research helped attract major investments and create thousands of jobs in West Michigan. I went on to serve my country as a weather forecaster in the United States Air Force, protecting lives and missions with accurate, timely forecasts. Whether strengthening our community, supporting local businesses, or safeguarding fellow service members, my record shows a commitment to service, leadership, and making a real difference.
Now, my journey has brought me home - to the 79th. My wife, our three kids - Sybil (5), Natasha (3), and Otto (8 months) -, and I love being back. This is a great place to raise a family, and I'm running to keep it that way through policies that make life more affordable for all of us, expand economic opportunities, and ensure a bright future for the next generation.
